Information Builders Still Innovating After 35 Years
Few BI vendors can celebrate a 35-year anniversary as Information Builders did this week at their annual user conference in Orlando, Fla. There are a lot of ways that this pure-play vendor likes to buck the trend in the BI world. They remain privately held and based in New York. Some predicted their demise following the industry consolidation in 2007, and yet, they continue to grow and innovate …

Once negative information falls off a credit report (after 7 years), can it be put back on?
In other words, when I contact the collection agency who has my defaulted student loan, and ask to rehabilitate, or pay off, my student loan, will the negative information that has long disappeared from my credit report (because it is older than 7 years old) reappear on my credit report? This seems to be a question to which nobody knows an answer. Does anyone here know? Thank you.
I have over 15 years of Human Resource experience through military training?
I have gone from Personnel Administrative clerk to Human Resource Manager. I got out of the military in Feb of this year, and to date I am still looking for a job. I live in the Killeen TX area and there are just no jobs out here that are willing to pay for my experience. If there are then, they are requiring that you have some type of formal education. If I have the overall supervisory and managerial experience from actually doing the job. Especially in adverse situations, I think that I should be hired at someone’s firm. What do you all think about this? Me personally am fed up.
I am 20 years old and have a 10:30 curfew. Tips on financial independence?
I am home from college for the summer, and my curfew is 10:30 pm. I’m a senior by hours, and it will be my 3rd year of college in the fall. I am currently taking summer classes, working, and volunteering. I need to get out of my parents house, but I don’t know how it’s feasible, since I will need to make enough $$ to pay for car insurance, car payments, rent, utilities, gas, food, and any other expenses, all while going to school, because if I move out, my parents are going to cut off all funding. Any tips on how to become cold-turkey financially independent? Oh, and they are paying for part of my college (that isn’t covered in scholarships), too, so I’d have to pay for that too. Oh and reasoning with them or them changing their minds is not even remotely possible.

Years ago I maxed out all my credit cards and had to go through a debt management program?
to pay them all off. I succeeded in getting them all paid off except for 1, which I’m still paying on. Now I want to get a new credit card for purposes of improving my credit (paying on time, etc.) Now that I’ve gone through credit counseling and a debt management program to reduce my debt, what is the best way to convince the major credit card companies to trust you again with a new card?
Can a man pay 18 years of court ordered in advance using a cash advance on?
Can a man pay 18 years of court ordered in advance using a cash advance on his City Bank Visa card using a cash advance? Will the state of Michigan expet this, yes or no. He says that if he does that and the mother never asks for a increase than City Bank can not put him in jail for not paying it and he can get a credit card debt discharged in Bankruptcy court?
