Has anyone used Take Charge America for debt management and if so are they reliable?
I would like to hear from people who have specifically used Take Charge America.org for reducing their debt. I would like to know if they were reliable, helpful, on the up-and-up or do you feel like you got scammed. THANKS!
how does a company select the approach used in the budgeting process?
various budget approaches exist: top down, bottom up, zero based, activity based, incremental… I’m curious what makes an organisation choose a specific approach. I’ve searched the web and some scientific databases in my local library but cannot find a paper/article/study explaining the choice of a company. Anh help?
Have you ever used credit counseling or a debt management plan?
I’m thinking about using a credit counseling agency or debt repayment plan but I’ve heard a lot of conflicting information about them in my research. Do you have any personal experience with it? Would you recommend it? Thanks.

has anyone used a service called CreditPlus Rewards I need information on who owns this company and phone #.?
This company uses the phone to contact people who have applied for a payday loan and offers them cash, credit cards and a auto road service card. They may call you direct or send an e-mail. They offer to send you $500.00 and then they will deduct $129.00 leaving you about $370.00. They take your money the next day but you will not get the $500.
Has anyone used an online cash advance/loan system and if so, how did it work out?
Looking into online cash advance sites and wondering if anyone has used one. If so, how well did it work out for you?
If I took out a payday loan and used a check from a closed acct, can I be prosecuted for that? I’m in AZ?
I’m getting calls from a place called Channing & Associates who are trying to collect for Check N’ Go, a payday loan company. This is back from 2005. The woman I speak to says she is from check fraud investigations. I can’t remember if my credit union account was closed after I took out the loan and already have given them the post dated check. But let’s just say for arguments sake that I wrote the postdated check on an account that had been closed previously. Is that considered check fraud in the state of Arizona and can I be prosecuted? I’m in the process of getting all my old account information from my old credit union but this person from Channing & Associates refuses to send me a copy of the check or anything on letterhead and continues to threaten sending this to the D.A.’s office. The payment amount I am offering them monthly ($25.00) they won’t accept. Should I pay on it or is she bluffing?
Someone used my information! What should I do now?
Few months ago I moved to this small town, and was living in a local hotel for weeks until we bought the condo. When I was staying at the hotel someone was using my credit card to deal at cars.com. I called the bank and cancelled my credit card, got back my money and everything seems to be fine.
Two weeks ago I looked for my husband’s aunt’s address and accidently typed my own name, surprisingly my name come out in ‘google’ as a seller of a car at cars.com! I clicked the link to cars.com but the profile was already removed possibly because the car was sold, but at ‘google’ it still show my full name and a local phone number with this small town prefix.
Should I research the phone number owner? I know for sure there is no other people having the same name especially in this town, besides, I had the incident someone using my credit card at cars.com.
Should I hire an attorney to investigate this or just go to the police or just leave it because it happened fe months ago?
The reason I’m sure nobody has the same complete name like mine because I’m foreigner with rather unusual first name and my husband’s last name is not common name, all with that last name in USA basicly still family.
