Anyone have budgeting tips for a college student living off campus?

So I will be living at a house with a few other students for the year. Commuting isn’t an option =( and housing isn’t given to seniors

Anyhow I have begun budgeting everything. I’ve made a list of known expenses (rent, permit, etc.)

However I am having a hard time decided how much to budget for…groceries. I have lived on campus with a meal plan. I would appreciate some input!

Any other tips will be greatly appreciated! Thanks =)

Is my credit score good enough for a student loan?

My credit score is 628 (not too good I know). However, is my credit score good enough to be approved for a student loan? I do not have a cosigner so that’s not an option.

Not Paying Back Emergency Student Loans?

Hello there,
I recently left my university in the middle of the semester had taken out an emergency student loan at the university to pay for the semester. Anyway, I just left and didn’t pay it back. I haven’t gotten any correspondence from the university or anything. I guess my question is, what can happen if I just don’t pay it back?

If a student does NOT wish to take out any student loans can the student still attend college if budgeting?

Like budgeting very very tightly or just not going to an expensive college or something, but just by getting financial aid? Is it possible to go to college by having this kind of budget and saying no to student loans ?
