My credit score right now is a 515, and I just applied for an apartment but was denied since the credit score isn’t a 530. What can I do to raise this score to a 530? They said I can try again in a month, so I want to try and bump it up by then. I’m going through a credit consolidation agency, so monthly payments are being made.

I don’t have the best credit, but I know 625 and up is preferred. I just bought a new car, and will be paying off for five years. I want to build interest when saving money in the bank, but I don’t know if the inflation will take it down so I don’t know if I’ll be loosing money.
