1. increase state funds for programs which rehabilitate and educate inmates during and after their prison sentences.

2. implement penalties other than incarceration for certain non-violent offenders.

3. Provide low interest loans and tax credits for starting, expanding, or relocating businesses.

4. Increase state funds for professional development of public school teachers and administrators.

5. Support “right to know” laws, making information available to communities exposed to hazardous substances.

6. Require manufacturers to provide child-safety locks with firearms.

7. Provide tax credits for businesses that provide child care for their employees.

8. Increase state funding for community centers and other social agencies in areas with at-risk youth.

See, the stock market is ALWAYS a leading indicator of things to come. You should all know by now that it bounced from Mar 9th lows on the assumption that the worst was over and Obama putting trillions into economy would stave off another leg down in the recession. NOW, what is this market saying now that it is slowly going back down? Why would Obama throw more money at it?
