I have a bad credit score and a couple of financial delinquencies, is this going to affect my military career? if so how?

I’m leaving the military in about a year and half and was wondering what kind of advice, financial and personal that I can get. Any tips on maximizing my GI bill would be helpful as well.

I have gone from Personnel Administrative clerk to Human Resource Manager. I got out of the military in Feb of this year, and to date I am still looking for a job. I live in the Killeen TX area and there are just no jobs out here that are willing to pay for my experience. If there are then, they are requiring that you have some type of formal education. If I have the overall supervisory and managerial experience from actually doing the job. Especially in adverse situations, I think that I should be hired at someone’s firm.
