Hi,

I am currently unemployed and am looking to get back into the work force. I left my previous employer a year and a half ago to pursue an MBA, and have graduated successfully. Unfortunatley, I was in a bad financial situation at the time, and as a result my credit profile became pretty bad. I have had many interviews recently, and am wondering whether my bad credit will affect my chances. In many interviews, I am required to sign a consent form, which includes accessing my personal information such as credit history. I believe most companies check credit history, especially banks.

Will my bad credit affect my chances of getting employed in the Finance field? If it does, is there any way around it?

Title says it all. I’m looking for your guys opinions on what’s a good book that teaches you how to save and invest money. Well actually anything that helps you make money in general.
