Check for arrest warrants and get treated favorably by the courts

Do you want to get woken up in the middle of the night and dragged off to jail by the police? I thought not but if there’s a warrant out for your arrest then this is exactly what could happen. If you want to sleep easily at night then you should learn how to check yourself out for arrest warrants. Here’s how you do it.

It won’t matter whether you actually committed the offence or any other crime for that matter, if you have an active arrest warrant you will be arrested and taken in to the station. To make matters worse this will all go down on your record as an involuntary arrest because the police had to come looking for you.

If you had given yourself up to the court voluntarily then you might expect everyone to be a bit nicer to you because they will see that you tried to do everything you could to cooperate with the court. But how do you know that you have a warrant?

You could get an arrest warrant anywhere and at any time

You can pick up an arrest warrant if you skip bail or fail to appear in court. If you get caught in a speed trap or commit some other traffic offence you could get a warrant without even knowing it until the police come knocking at your door. Someone might have stolen your identity and been caught robbing a bank or something. You might not find out about this until the police arrest you for it.

If you haven’t then I bet that you know of someone who has. Now if the thief is stopped for speeding or skips bail for an offence that might be very serious then who do you think that the cops will come looking for? Make yourself look good in court

Think about how different it could be in court if you were to hand yourself in before the cops come looking for you. The Judge will naturally have a more favourable opinion about you and your court experience could be a whole lot nicer. The problem is how do you know if you have a warrant for arrest issued on you in the first place? Luckily today it’s not nearly as difficult as it used to be to do a background check on someone and find out if there are arrest warrants.

What’s the easiest way to find warrants for arrest?

You can use a web site like the one at Court Records to find out if you have an arrest warrant. You can do it in less than 10 minutes, it’s easy and completely confidential. Until recently it would have been practically impossible for you to do this type of background check search by yourself. Isn’t the Internet great?

Don’t put this off. Do a background check now, find out if you’ve got any active arrest warrants right away.

WAMU gives you a little synopsis and your credit score when you have a credit card with them. I logged in one day and saw another closed account in addition to one I already knew about, how do I find out what this other account is? ok so i just saw my credit report.. and there a few things on there that i don’t know what thay are. like. $24 for this and $97 for that. I’d love to pay them off, if i knew what they heck there were for…. and it doesn’t help that they are from a few years ago.. how do i go about finding out what stuff is?

also.. my credit is pretty low. and being that i don’t have any large debts, i think that this may slightly be becuase my information is wrong.

Below is an answer to a debt question I asked. Im 70K in CC debt. You hear so many stories about these companies that say they settle debts and stories of how they really can’t do anything but just take your money. Does anybody know how to ferret out a reputable company that really does that service?

What I would recommend would be to talk to an accountant or get some information from a company who can help settle debt for a lower cost. If you do that and they project that you can settle your debt for say 15-25k,

I am a journalist living in California making decent money now, but financial problems I had in college are coming back to haunt me. I have very poor credit as a result. Now, I have had an emergency situation pop up – I need to pay off some folks I borrowed money off of and I need to return to my home in Arkansas to tend to a family situation. I have $300 in my savings account, but I need approximately $5000 to take care of my immediate needs. I can’t go to a payday lender but I’d be very willing to work out a deal with a private lender who can send money to me where I can get it very quickly. I’ve tried to sign up for Prosper but it will take 5 days or so for them to verify my information and I don’t have that much time. I have two websites that will verify my standing as a journalist and my employment status, and I have several computers I’d be willing to sell or put up as some form of collateral or something.
