I’m recently seperated from my wife and we’re getting a divorce. She kicked me out of our apt, and I’m at a friends. I can’t stay here forever. The costs are more related to first, last and broker fee to move in. I live in NYC and it’s close to impossible to get an affordable place on yuor own without the netowrk of lanlords provided theough a broker. So upfront it’s a big cost, but in the long run it would be cheaper to pay $1100 a month instead of $1800 a month.
