I lost My checkbook and debit card back in Dec. and I had 2 payday loans for $200.00 dollars. I had paid it all but 160.00 from my account. I called and explained it to them and had to open another account, but then had to have surgery. Some one had used the old one before I could close it out in Dec so I had to pay 660.00 to the bank in NSF fees for that because I don’t know how they did it. Now these people (payday loan) want to charge me 2500.00 dollars for 200.00 dollars and take a judgement out and take my hold pay check. Can they do this? Please if there is a lawyer out there tell me what I can do about this. I am just getting back in my home from hurricane RITA and I already am trying to get caught up on bills from loosing my checkbook in Dec. I maybe about to loose my car behind all of this, I am working 3 jobs, trying to pay all of these bills and I don’t have no help with this. What can I do? I need my transportation to get to work and I even had to quit school. answer ASAP
What if they are calling and not leaving any messages or just demanding thay you pay by end of Business day or else?
