has anyone used a service called CreditPlus Rewards I need information on who owns this company and phone #.?

This company uses the phone to contact people who have applied for a payday loan and offers them cash, credit cards and a auto road service card. They may call you direct or send an e-mail. They offer to send you $500.00 and then they will deduct $129.00 leaving you about $370.00. They take your money the next day but you will not get the $500.

I recieved a payday loan online a while back and after about three weeks of and three unpaid pay periods of them taking all of pay check and constantly sending the payment throught day after day even when it wasn’t my period and not to mention the fact that the company that was going in and taking the payment was not the one that i had gotten the loan from so i thought ppl had stolen my baking information offline so I put a stop payment to it .I figured the real company would contact me some other way bc I could tell who was who and I couldn’t afford what was going on . Well now this guy calls and says that if I don’t pay 320.00 today right now then he’s going to send some information to my city so that can investigate me for fraud and after today the company doesnt want 320.00 they 1320.00 and their going to take it anyway they know how …. what should I do can they really press charges aganist me for fraud …. by the way the Guy wanted to collect 320.00 on today but when i asked about a payment plan he said they they were not a collection agency so they could noy put me on a plan but he wanted to collect the 320.00 on today. dont they have to turn it to a collection agency before they can take this kind of action

How do I find out if a company has an Alaska Business License? They are out of state!?

I took out a payday loan online a little over a year ago. I have not been able to pay them back for it. Then I find out that they didn’t even have a business license to operate in the State of Alaska. My employer tells me they can’t and shouldn’t be harrassing me, but they call me at work EVERYDAY! I have repeatedly told them I am going to lose my job if they don’t stop, and all I get from them is this is your contact information, and “we’re” just trying to help. I hang up every time. I know that I owe them, but I can’t afford to lose my job!

Is it legal for a company to keep your credit card information after you have specifically told them not to?

I was trying to cancel payment for a subscription, and of course there couldn’t be a “cancel me!” button. So I tried to remove my credit card and they said that I couldn’t remove it until I put in another form of payment. I also found out that the only way to cancel it was to call between certain hours. So I called and canceled it, but they still have my credit card information on the account, even though I told them to remove it. Is this legal??

When can a collections company report information to a credit bureau?

Also, when do they usually do it? There are many conflicting pieces of information out there. Can they do it before they send you a validation notice? What if you have disputed the debt?
The account in question is from a residential lease agreement. Both parties are claiming that the other breached the agreement. However, the landlord dropped the case in landlord/tenant court and sent the account to a collections agency. Will this result in a permanent, indisputable negative mark on the tenant’s credit report?

What do I do if the debt management company doesn’t make a payment for me on time? Can I sue them?

In early 2006, I signed up with a company to consolidate my credit card debt. The full amount was around $12,000, and that’s spread out over six cards.

This year I started making a good bit more money, so, in May, I called the debt management company and asked if they’d take an EXTRA payment from me that month, as soon as possible, in order to knock off most of the debt on two credit cards.

I thought I was clear and repetitive, but somehow they managed to ONLY pay those two cards that month of May and none of the others.

Now Bank of America has told me that this has been negatively reported to the credit bureau.

The debt management company, who made the error, is telling me, in so many words, that it’s my fault and that there’s nothing they can do. They tell me to call Bank of America, while Bank of America just shrugs and says, “We just report what comes in and what doesn’t.”

I asked for a call back from a supervisor at the debt management company, but there’s been none since I started asking last week.

I threatened to sue them, and they told me, in so many words, that that is not an option.

Can someone make a mistake that injures your credit rating and not be held accountable? I never missed a payment until now.

Debt Settlement Company Report Warns of Credit Card Company Fee Schemes Spiting New Credit Card Act

Debt Settlement Company Report Warns of Credit Card Company Fee Schemes Spiting New Credit Card Act
Although the 2010 Credit Card Act is aimed to protect against unfair credit card billing practices, a report by Debt Free League, provider of the National Debt Relief Stimulus Plan indicates that to offset the loss of profits, credit card companies crafted schemes, hitting cardholders’ accounts with new fees and increased interest rates. Defiantly, the company offers a debt settlement solution.

What do I need to know before investing in a new company?

No one in my family has EVER invested money. We save. I was always taught it was a gamble, and “If it seems too good to be true, it probably is”.
Someone close to me has recently invested money into a new company, and got a LARGE return in just one month. My husband is now wanting to invest as much money as we can also.
What would I even need to know before investing any money?
Please, no technical terms, like I said, I’ve never invested.

should I consolidate my credit cards debt with a debt management company ?? what do you think? ?

I have over $20,000 of credit card debt. I am able to pay them off slowly now, but I am thinking of consolidating everything with a debt management program. This program said they will close all my accounts and all I have to pay is a low monthly payment of $500 a month for all my credit cards. Is this a good deal? I am not sure. Thank you for reading and thank you for your time.
