I made over 100k last year and my wife blew threw it as quick as I made it…I worked over 500 hrs overtime! I need a budget that is practical. Does anyone know of a good book or ideas?

I need some extra money at the moment, im in sort of a bind. Anyone know of a site or a place i can go that will give me a fast personal loan or cash advance or something like that without paying an arm and a leg at the end?

I received check in the mail today for over $800 from American Express saying that I successfully completed the Consumer Debt Management Plan. I don’t ever recall enrolling in this program. Is this too good to be true? Anyone with a similar experience?

I signed up for Care one debt consolidation and I failed to make a payment because I am overdrawn on my checking account. I feel that this company shouldn’t have called me at all about the drp program because I have no assets.So, how can I get rid of debt and does anyone here know another debt mangement program company they use?

I don’t want to take out a payday loan. I was wondering if there were any credit card companies that extended emergency loans (not line increases) that were instantly available as a line of credit. Does anyone know of one?

So I will be living at a house with a few other students for the year. Commuting isn’t an option =( and housing isn’t given to seniors

Anyhow I have begun budgeting everything. I’ve made a list of known expenses (rent, permit, etc.)

However I am having a hard time decided how much to budget for…groceries. I have lived on campus with a meal plan. I would appreciate some input!

I (just like many others) recieved an e-mail sying that someone was looking for me. Curious, I clicked the link and it took me to the site. I filled out some basic information (zip code, name, bith day) but I DID NOT give out my credit number like they wanted me to. I deleted my profile but now I am starting to get worried. Can they get a hold of any serious information from me, bear in mind that I didn’t give out anything that was serious, just my birthday, zipcode and name. Also, just in case, do not fall for this. I kind of new it was a scam, I was just curious.
I also changed my email password just now. I am REALLY SCARED about what just happened, but I NEVER gave out my credit information or my id number.
Also, I have NEVER bought anything over the internet
Can anyone hep me out and tell me what I need to do ?

I am doing an M.B.A. presentation on Angel investing and am trying to use a big corporation as an example of successful angel investing. Are there any big companies that started off using angel investing to fund their idea and now are very successful? Please let me know of any. Thanks.

I am considering entering a debt management program because I am way over my head in credit card debt. I know it may not be the best solution but it seems I keep putting it off, getting no where paying down my debt. Does anyone have advice or comments?

I recently applied for a payday loan, and I received an alert on my credit report. It showed an inquiry from the payday loan company that I just applied for. I though that “payday loans” don’t check your credit? Now do you know if this is a hard inquiry or soft inquiry and if I’m in the last process of closing escrow on a house purchase. Would this affect the process of the closing?
Well..I did read that paper work & didn’t state anywhere about a credit check, it however state that payment may be reported to the credit bureaus.
