Has anyone dealt with this company. They are payday loan company and I defaulted on payment. So I tried to set up a payment plan and they refused. Now they are trying to add all these charges. They keep harassing me at work. I work for a law firm so I had one of the lawyers tell him to kindly quit calling we don’t accept debt collection calls. So now they are calling and just laughing and then hanging up. I looked up payday loan laws in Illinois and they can’t charge any extra fees after default except insufficient funds. Well, you see I put stop payments on that company and they are mad. I have now asked for a detailed bill. I took out a 300.00 loan and they are claiming I owe 960.00. I have already paid them 180.00 since October. How can I get them to leave me alone. How can I set up a payment plan when they refuse to give me a detailed bill and information to mail it to. I refuse to give them my bank account number. Anyone have experience w/this?

Hello everyone! First of all let me admit that I probably worded the question wrong…but here it goes anyway:
I am about to enter college…well actually, I have been accepted into my dream college, Lawrence University, through ED, and I am awaiting the financial aid and all, but I know that unless I get a good amount of money I can not go.
So here’s my question: do any of you know some good scholarship websites or scholarships, financial aid programs, grants, low interest loans, cheap airfare (I have to fly or figure another way to get from New York to Wisconsin with all of my stuff), loans that don’t need cosigners, etc? And before all of you say, ask your parents…let me warn you, my dad and step-mom are not the world’s greatest parents….but to make a long story short, they refuse to help me in anyway, and my mother has no car, money, home and horrible credit so she can’t help me.

I have been on alot of swinger sites that claim to be free, turns out they want credit card information before you can actually do anything. I want to write or view other profiles for free, no credit card to verify age or anything like that. can someone help?

I had a person call me international from a 310 area code saying I owed this payday loan people 5,000.00. They said I got the loan in November of 07. I got them to give me the website but when I tried to look it up it didn’t give me any contact information. These people said that I better have an attorney ready cause they are going to come a investigate this situation and I will go to court on this for the 5,000.00 I still owe to them.
