Tips on getting accepted for Financial Aid?
I’ve applied for financial aid before and didn’t get approved. I’m wondering if there’s anything I can do this time around to get accepted. Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated. I haven’t been in school for the last 8 months and need to get back in. I’m planning on attending a dental assisting school as soon as possible just don’t have the finances to do so. Please Help!

well if you living on your own just use your own info for your tax stuff not your parents etc. Did you get any paperwork saying your eligable for loans etc? do the fafsa in a timely manner to get everything straighten out so you can get the best results.
Why were you denied financial aid? Are you a U.S. citizen? Have you defaulted on any of your student loans? Are you still on financial aid suspension from a previous semester? If you are a citizen and have not defaulted on any student loans, then you are eligible for financial aid in the form of low-interest federal student loans. Not everyone qualifies for “free” money in the form of grants because these are need-based (based on application information). Everyone who qualifies for financial aid is eligible for federal stafford loan because these are not need-based.
