San Jose elementary students beat hundreds of other schools in stock market game
Their money was virtual, but their companies and stock prices real. Teacher Ann Fleischer organized nine teams in her fourth-grade class and eight in after-school clubs at Matsumoto and next-door Chaboya Middle School. The teams swept the top three places in both the elementary and middle school levels in the spring session of the industry-sponsored game.
