you are suppose to get one free each year, this site will give you your report but in order to get your score its like $8.00. if you go to this site it asks “Reason for Credit File Request” just click on the one that says “Denied Credit, Insurance, Change in Credit Limit or Other Benefit” if your not sure and you’ll get your report. no cc required. good luck!
It is mandated that you can get a free credit report every 12 months. Doesn’t have anything to do with credit card information. You just need your own information like address, social security number etc.
NOT freecreditreport.com – They require a credit card and enrollment in their monthly service to get your “free credit report.” It’s a scam…but they need your money to pay for all those dumb commercials…..
