Expat financial tips?

I hope to live outside of the US (specifically in SKorea) for several years. What are some tips you may have for how to save, spend and invest well in a foreign land?? I also have student loans to pay off… Thanks for your help!
Best way to save money is to spend less. Buy cheap food. Get shared accommodation and stop splurging on expensive habits such as drinking and other entertainment.
It’s not always how much money you make but how little you can spend which makes the difference. I have a friend who makes $30k yet I manage to save more money a year than he does by cutting my spending habits down.
I would also consider looking into an alternative income source on top of your main job.Something small and simple you can do in your spare time like selling items on Ebay.
